If you search for the Tuborg beer price in India, you will find dozens of pages giving ranges like "₹120 to ₹250". Those ranges are rarely helpful, because there is no single Tuborg price in the country. The same 650 ml Tuborg Strong bottle is ₹135 in Delhi and ₹180 in Haryana, and the beer inside is identical.

This guide takes a narrower approach. We opened state-specific retailer pages, noted the price and date on each, and kept those figures separate from second-hand prices. Where we found nothing reliable, we say the price needs local checking instead of guessing.

Confirmed means we opened a state-specific page on Talli, a beer price and delivery information site, and read the price and the "effective" date ourselves. Talli says prices can vary with local excise rules.

Reported means another publication attributes the figure to a source, but we could not open that page. Delhi's 500 ml can price and Rajasthan's 500 ml and 650 ml Tuborg Strong prices fall here. They come from a LiquorMRP guide published on 10 October 2026.

Needs local checking means we found nothing reliable, or only contradictory figures. You will see this wording wherever it applies.

MRP, retail price and listed price

The MRP is the maximum price printed on the pack, and a licensed shop cannot charge above it. The retail price is what a shop actually charges. A "listed price" is what a website shows. The Talli figures here are state prices on a listing, so treat them as strong guides, not receipts.

The smallest common pack is the 330 ml bottle. We confirmed ₹95 for Tuborg Strong in Rajasthan and ₹130 in Maharashtra. A Goa shop lists Tuborg Green 330 ml at ₹60, though that listing carries no date.

Tuborg beer price 500ml (Tuborg beer can price)

The Tuborg beer can price for a 500 ml can of Strong is ₹130 in Uttar Pradesh and ₹180 in Haryana. LiquorMRP reports ₹110 for Delhi and ₹145 for Rajasthan. The 500 ml Classic Strong can is ₹160 in Uttar Pradesh and ₹240 in Maharashtra.

Tuborg beer price 650ml (Tuborg beer bottle price)

The 650 ml pack is the one most people mean when they ask about the Tuborg beer bottle price. For Tuborg Strong, the confirmed prices are ₹135 in Delhi, ₹170 in Uttar Pradesh and ₹180 in Haryana. The reported Rajasthan price is ₹175.

Tuborg beer price in Delhi

Among confirmed states, Delhi has the cheapest Tuborg. Talli shows Tuborg Strong 650 ml at ₹135. The 500 ml can is reported at ₹110. A Delhi Classic Strong price needs local checking.

Delhi's retail system is part of the story. Liquor shops are run by government corporations rather than private licensees. Reports from February 2026 said the city's excise tax rate had not been revised since 2014, and that MRPs were last updated about three years earlier. This may help explain why Delhi sits below its neighbours.

Tuborg beer price in Uttar Pradesh

The Tuborg beer price in Uttar Pradesh is ₹170 for a 650 ml bottle of Strong and ₹130 for a 500 ml can, according to the Lucknow listing. Tuborg Classic Strong in a 500 ml can is ₹160 there.

A new excise policy started in the state on 1 April 2026, raising licence fees and slightly increasing the special additional excise duty on Indian-made foreign liquor. Coverage centres on spirits, so we cannot tell whether it affected beer.

Tuborg beer price in Haryana

The Gurugram listing shows Tuborg Strong at ₹180 for both the 650 ml bottle and the 500 ml can. Tuborg Classic Strong 650 ml is ₹220. Haryana is the highest of the states we confirmed.

The reason is partly policy. Haryana's Excise Policy 2025–27, in force since 12 June 2025, lifted minimum retail prices sharply. For a 650 ml bottle of strong beer (above 5.5% alcohol), the minimum rose from ₹130 to ₹160. For mild beer it rose from ₹110 to ₹150. The state also said prices would go up again in 2026–27. We have not read the 2026–27 notice, so we cannot say it explains the current ₹180.

Tuborg beer price in Mumbai and Maharashtra

For Mumbai, Talli's Maharashtra state price is ₹130 for a 330 ml bottle of Tuborg Strong, and ₹240 for a 500 ml Tuborg Classic Strong. We could not confirm 500 ml or 650 ml Strong prices.

An older, undated Mumbai guide listed Tuborg Strong at ₹120 (330 ml), ₹145 (500 ml can) and ₹185 (650 ml). Treat those as history, not a current rate.

Maharashtra raised excise duty on Indian-made foreign liquor sharply in 2025 but left beer out of the increase, because the Brewers Association of India argued beer was already taxed heavily.

Tuborg beer price in Rajasthan and Goa

In Rajasthan, Talli's Jaipur listing shows Tuborg Strong 330 ml at ₹95 and Tuborg Classic Strong 650 ml at ₹245. Reported figures are ₹145 for the 500 ml can and ₹175 for the 650 ml bottle of Strong.

In Goa, Wine Palace lists Tuborg Green 330 ml at ₹60, a Tuborg 500 ml can at ₹75, a Tuborg Strong 500 ml can at ₹90, and a Tuborg 650 ml bottle at ₹110. The page is undated and does not name the variant of the ₹110 bottle. It also shows ₹1,115 for a Strong 650 ml pack, which cannot be a single-bottle price, so we ignored it.

Other states: Karnataka, Telangana, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu

We could not confirm a current Tuborg price for Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Chennai. The price needs local checking. Two policy changes are worth knowing:

Karnataka moved to an alcohol-content-based excise system on 11 May 2026. Reports say lighter beer around 5% alcohol became 20–25% cheaper. Tuborg Green (4.6%) falls in that range, but we have no Tuborg price to prove the effect.
Telangana raised beer MRPs by 15% from 11 February 2025, which reports say meant a 15–19% increase on shelves once taxes were included.

Tuborg Green Beer Price

Tuborg Green is the lighter lager, listed at 4.6% alcohol. Carlsberg India says it is sold in 330 ml, 500 ml and 650 ml packs. Even so, we could not confirm the Tuborg Green beer price for any large state.

Talli's Tuborg Green page shows no published Maharashtra price, and the only dated shop price we found is ₹60 for a 330 ml bottle in Goa. Other websites quote the Delhi 650 ml bottle at ₹130–₹150, ₹140–₹170 and ₹180–₹220. When sources disagree this much, none is likely using a current MRP list, so read the MRP on the pack.

Tuborg Strong Beer Price

Tuborg Strong is the variant retailers list most often, so it has the best data on the Tuborg beer price in India. The confirmed and reported Tuborg Strong beer price figures are in the table above. A useful way to read them is per 100 ml, using only the confirmed 650 ml bottles:

Pack size matters too. In Haryana, the 500 ml can costs the same as the 650 ml bottle (₹180), so the can is about ₹36 per 100 ml against about ₹27.7 for the bottle, roughly 30% more. In Uttar Pradesh the two cost almost the same per millilitre. A cheaper-looking pack is not always better value.

Tuborg Classic Beer Price

Retailers list this variant as Tuborg Classic Strong. Carlsberg India's own site names a product called Tuborg Classic with Scotch Malts, and we could not confirm whether the two names refer to exactly the same product, so we keep the retailer name when quoting prices.

The confirmed Tuborg Classic beer price figures sit well above regular Strong:

Compare carefully. Some websites show a "Tuborg Classic" price for a 750 ml pack, which cannot be compared with a 650 ml price.

Tuborg Beer Alcohol Percentage

The Tuborg beer alcohol percentage differs by variant. Talli's product pages list:

Some other sites say Tuborg Strong is 7.5%, and Carlsberg India's own product page does not state ABV. Strength is printed on the label and can vary by batch or market, so treat the label as final.

Strength also affects price. States tax beer in brackets by alcohol content and place the "strong beer" line at different points.

Tuborg Beer Variants in India

Carlsberg India's product page lists the following Tuborg range:

Tuborg Green: a lager of Danish origin, in India since 2009, available in 330 ml, 500 ml and 650 ml.
Tuborg Strong: an Indian-made lager, launched in 2010, also in 330 ml, 500 ml and 650 ml. The company calls it the most consumed beer in India, which is its own claim.
Tuborg Classic with Scotch Malts: an Indian-made lager launched in 2017.
Tuborg Ice Draft: a lager launched in 2022.
Tuborg Zero Soda: listed under a water type rather than as a beer, so it does not belong in beer price lists.

Retail sites also show Tuborg White Strong in some states, so availability depends on your state and shop.

What Decides the Tuborg Beer Price in Your State

The brewery does not set one Tuborg beer price in India for the whole country. Each state decides how beer is taxed, priced and sold.

Excise duty. Alcohol for drinking sits outside GST, so the main tax is state excise. Some states charge by volume, some by strength and some as a share of the declared price.

How the MRP is built. A Comptroller and Auditor General audit of Uttar Pradesh described the usual chain: ex-brewery price, plus excise duty, plus the wholesaler's margin, plus the retailer's margin. A change at any stage moves the price on the shelf.

Price control rules. Haryana sets minimum retail prices. Telangana controls beer prices through a price-fixing committee. Karnataka's May 2026 notice said government price fixing had been removed and that producers choose their own price slab.

Retail model. Delhi sells through government-run corporations with fixed margins per bottle, while other states license private shops. This affects margins and prices.

Revenue goals. Excise is a major income source. Uttar Pradesh set an excise revenue target of ₹71,278 crore for 2026–27.

Input costs. In May 2026, the industry groups CIABC and BAI asked state governments for price rises of 15% to 20%, citing higher costs for glass, cartons and aluminium after supply problems linked to the West Asia conflict. Each state decides whether to agree.

Changes That Could Move Prices

Delhi's new excise policy. A report from 28 September 2026 said Delhi's final draft was ready, likely to be notified in October, and aimed to raise excise duty and cut fixed retail margins. The report added that the proposal had hit a hurdle after the excise commissioner was transferred. If it goes ahead, the Tuborg beer price in Delhi could rise. Nothing was confirmed as of 13 October 2026.

Packaging costs and Haryana. The industry's 15–20% request and the further Haryana rise signalled for 2026–27 may affect prices later this year.
